Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide an email address you control, keep account links private, and use the catalog only for lawful purposes. Do not probe, bypass, or interfere with package signatures, account access controls, checkout state, rate limits, or another user’s data.

Catalog, delivery, and upstream software

Unoctu provides a reviewed software catalog, package integrity checks, secure delivery, package refreshes, and support. Each upstream project keeps its own license, privacy notice, and product terms. An Unoctu account or package entitlement does not relicense an upstream project.

Purchases, recurring billing, and cancellation

Before payment, the checkout page identifies the selected plan, price, currency, billing interval, renewal terms, and delivery scope. Stripe processes payment and recurring billing. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel through the Billing Portal or another method made available by Unoctu. Cancellation stops future renewals while preserving access through the paid period, subject to the plan and applicable law.

Digital delivery and refunds

After payment and verification, Unoctu may issue a short-lived authenticated download link. Refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and payment-network protections are governed by the Refund and Delivery Policy and applicable law; nothing in these terms limits a non-waivable consumer right.

AI software and EULAs

Unoctu distributes and supports software that uses artificial intelligence, including local models and optional remote providers. Each catalog product has its own EULA and privacy notice; provider terms and the product's own documentation describe the AI features it offers.

Unoctu's catalog and account service does not operate a chatbot, run inference on customer prompts, or use AI to make final access, pricing, refund, or eligibility decisions. When an AI-enabled app is used, prompts, files, images, audio, code, and outputs may be processed locally or sent to the provider selected in that app. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or unsuitable; review it before relying on it.

Intellectual property, availability, and liability

Unoctu retains rights in its platform and launcher; upstream publishers retain their own rights. The service and catalog are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Unoctu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service during the preceding twelve months or $50, whichever is greater. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms when the service, law, or security requirements change. We will publish the new version and effective date; material changes will be communicated where required. We may suspend access for abuse, fraud, security risk, or legal compliance, with any rights you have under applicable law preserved.
